1. Data Controller

Career Relevance Score™ is the data controller for the processing of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679).

2. What data we collect

When you use our service, we collect the following information:

  • Your LinkedIn profile URL that you enter in the form
  • Public profile information available via LinkedIn
  • Analysis results generated by our AI service
  • Email address — if you choose to consent to marketing communications at the time of payment
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and timestamp (for security and troubleshooting)

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process your personal data to:

  • Perform career analysis of your LinkedIn profile (contractual interest)
  • Send career tips, product updates and offers by email — only if you have explicitly consented at the time of payment (legal basis: consent, GDPR art. 6.1a)
  • Improve and develop our service (legitimate interest)
  • Fulfil legal obligations

4. Marketing and email communications

We only send marketing communications to users who have actively checked the box "Yes, send me career tips and updates" at the time of purchase. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any mailing, or by contacting us directly. We will never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Storage and deletion

Your analysis results are stored for up to 12 months, after which they are automatically deleted. You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Sharing with third parties

We never share your personal data with unauthorized third parties. Our AI analysis is performed via encrypted API calls to approved AI providers under strict data processing agreements (DPA). No data is used for training external AI models.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ('the right to be forgotten')
  • Object to processing
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Data portability

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at www.imy.se.

8. Security

We use encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transfers and store data on secure servers within the EU. We apply the principle of minimum necessary data access and regular security reviews.
